Dear 2025 —— Behold.
May we grow inwards and outwards like a tree.
The passage of time silently layers each ring within,
gently beholding all I have loved and seen while endlessly expanding.
 
The growth rings, as specimens of time, never cease to grow in both directions.
The strokes of time silently grow in every circle of the wood grain,
concentrating inward to form the growth rings, witnessing the passage of years,
layer upon layer, telling endless stories.
 
The myriad flavors of the four seasons are preserved in the layers of texture, accumulating circle by circle, building our core, becoming an invisible support for growth,
always surrounding the center, constantly pushing us to expand outward, broader, and stronger.

In 2025, Behold, we return to the steadiness of the earth,
rooted, yet never ceasing to flow and expand.
 
We write to preserve memories,
just as the growth rings bear witness to the traces of time passing.
From this ring, we witness all the growth marks accumulated along the way.
 
One day, when we pause to look back,
we will quietly appreciate the fullness and completeness of our journey.
